But verification is not an extension of ISO 14064-1.

Lead Verifiers are not produced through webinars.
They are developed through progressive practice and controlled exposure to real verification decisions.
MPC’s ISO 14064-3 Lead Verifier pathway includes a Certificate of Practice (CoP) designed specifically for verification roles:
• Verification-aware grounding under SGS
• Supervised exposure to real verification scenarios
• Structured progression from practitioner to verifier
This pathway is intentionally selective.
Not everyone who wants to verify should.
That is precisely why the role matters.
